Be-Sol was founded in 2000. At first an engineering office only for ESE, a company specialized in solar energy, Be-Sol has gradually expanded its activities to become a R&D office dedicated to all renewable energies, their storages and the HVAC applications.

The company is specialized in project studies up to the realization of prototypes. Thanks to its small and flexible structure Be-Sol covers a large part of the R&D area: study of energy transformation and storage systems (thermochemical, solar,...), mechanical engineering starting with a POC (Proof Of Concept) and followed by the realization of small or real scale prototypes in our workshops, acquisition and analysis of data as well as numerical simulations of fluid dynamics and thermal behaviour.

We have participated and are still participating in several Walloon (FEDER) and European (FP7) research projects in collaboration with European companies and research centers. The company was not only involved but also coordinated projects.

Following the Solautark and Sotherco projects, Be-Sol is developing a thermochemical adsorption heat pump system (BaTheC project).

Our skills are not limited to research and also cover the administrative, scientific and human management of projects.

Be-Sol can be a link between universities or research centers and private companies. Our area of activity is between TRL3 and TR9. In addition to public research projects, we also work with private companies that wish to develop their business in general or have a specific project to study.
